ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING DESIGN
As one of the main specialties of MHC, architectural design provides us with a continuous source of energy that keeps busy and productive all the time. The joy we get from design assignments starts the minute a request for service proposal is received. We welcome the idea of a sustainable change in the environment that we can contribute to through our professional approach to design.
Our systematic and comprehensive approach to engineering allows us to address every aspect of the project with due regard to its requirements for the balanced and integrated whole we seek to produce.
We take full advantage of modern technologies that allow building performance simulations at design stage to avoid costly mistakes and substandard solutions. Utilizing these technologies gives us enough confidence to make sure that decisions are safely made and communicated with transparency and clarity.
MASTER PLANNING & URBAN DESIGN
No project exists in isolation. Even when the job is for a single building, our passion for integration obliges us to understand and address contexts and connections on much higher scales. We look beyond the boundaries until there is nothing to be considered and full integration is satisfied. The wider the angle of our vision, the more opportunities we encounter.
Our master planning team knows how placemaking can shape the future of a location and enhance its urban experience. Tied with our holistic and systematic approach to problem solving, context and content analysis tools allow us to come up with creative solutions that perfectly fit the needs. Through these tools, we make good predictions of how the solution would perform once materialized.
We believe that we do not need to waste time re-inventing the wheel. A wealth of relevant successful experience already exists elsewhere in the world. We creatively draw on this experience without losing the originality that every project must have.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project management consultancy services are necessary and critical to the success of complex projects. It is the practice of controlling quality delivery as per plan. Our team will work closely with you to make your project a successful one. By understanding all needs, planning resources and engaging stakeholders we make ensure that the budget is feasible, that deadlines are met, and that risks are anticipated and planned for and, therefore, ensure your initiatives are completed within budget, scope, and schedule. We keep on asking:
Where you want to be? Where are we now? How to get there?
CONSTRUCTION MANAGMENT
MHC doesn’t just hand you designs and walk away; we help you construct what we design, from site preparation through handing over, so that your project is completed quickly and efficiently. Our full-time engineers and technical staff are committed to the quality delivery of the most sophisticated building tasks. Working onsite, they seamlessly integrate into contractor teams, using their leadership skills, experience, and objectivity to monitor work progress, identify risks and pitfalls and ensure your project goals align with the plans agreed during design development.
THIRD PARTY PEER REVIEW (TPPR)
Effective quality assurance, in the form of third-party peer review, reduces the overall cost by reducing RFIs and change orders.
Peer reviews are a good thing. They save the client money. They save the design consultants grief. They reduce RFI’s. They reduce Change orders and they produce better buildings. MHC team offers this consultancy service as part fulfilment of our mission to contribute to the creation of better buildings and quality built environment. We believe that the benefits of the review always exceed its cost. Putting quality into a project in the front end is always cheaper than trying to put it in later by fixing up mistakes.
SUSTAINABILITY/ENERGY ANALYSIS
Building energy consumption rating is becoming a deciding factor in building design and operation. New buildings are required to meet at least some minimum standards before getting approvals. Existing facilities are being investigated for potential savings and environmental advantages. We have in-house energy team in charge of providing the studies required for achieving efficient designs and solutions for any project that requires the service.
Even when it is not a statutory requirement, at MHC we acknowledge the need for green solutions that explore sustainable development and "green" building options in order to maximize both economic and environmental performance. The built environment has a vast impact on the natural environment, affecting human wellbeing and economy. By adopting green building strategies we aim not only at constructing sustainable communities with indoor environmental quality, but can also support the preservation of energy and water resources. We believe that sustainable development methods can be incorporated into buildings at any stage, including renovation and maintenance. However, the most significant benefits can be obtained if the design and construction teams integrate this approach starting at the inception stages of development. The economic benefits of green buildings are high as they not only minimize the strain on local infra structure but also reduce operating cost, improve productivity of users, and optimize the return on investment through better use of building resources.
